A high-quality, affordable Tempranillo from Spain's renowned Rioja region.
Aged 18 months in mixed French and American oak barrels, then aged in the bottle for an additional 18 months before release
This Rioja Tempranillo may be short on price, but it's certainly long on flavor.
Deep violet to the eye, this wine has a nose of black plum, dark chocolate and dried hillside herbs. Bold red berry flavors are joined by plush tannins and deeper notes of mocha, truffle and thyme. As flavors and textures wind down on the palate, a note of orange zest remains.
Lovely aromas of sandalwood, violets, rose petal, leather and liquorice. The palate is quite concentrated, with a lovely combination of ripe fruit and sweet spice.
