A delicious Rioja wine featuring a harmonious blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha, with notes of cherry and cocoa, balanced tannins, and acidity.
Grapes are meticulously selected by optical scanner, then macerated for 5 days in concrete, fermented, and macerated again for an additional 14 days before pressing. Wine is aged in single-use French oak barriques, and new Hungarian oak casks for 16 months before moving to concrete vats for an additional 22 months
Tempranillos from Rioja are just good. Some stand out and this is one of them. Excellent blend of tempranillo and garnacha that like many of the Rioja wines you might try go well with about anything. Cherry and cocoa, balanced tannin and acidity. Delicious!
Aromas of coffee bean, orange zest and black cherry pave the way for blackberry, dark plum, caramel, espresso and mint flavors. Powerful tannins and well-integrated acidity make their way into a cranberry and rose-petal-laced finish. Drink through 2041.
