2020 Colterenzio Lafóa Chardonnay DOC

Packaged in its distinctive bottle with an Art Deco design, the Schreckbichl Colterenzio 2020 Alto Adige Chardonnay Lafóa is tonic and tight with lemon curd, grapefruit essence, crushed stone, honey, saffron and a glossy note of latex or natural rubber. The wine flaunts a linear style, but it also shows impressive complexity with a fluid bouquet that changes with each swirl of the glass. It ends with a soft hint of oak spice or vanilla cream. Fruit comes from an eight-hectare site at a cool 500 to 550 meters in elevation.
