This is a delicious small production Chenin Blanc from a notable South African producer. Striking golden hue, viscous and full of apricots. You'll note the term "Steen" on the label, which is the South African alternative name for Chenin Blanc. A real beauty.

Piet Bok Se Bos comes from a cooler block on the farm (although everything is relative in the Swartland) and has the classic Badenhorst hallmarks of old wood, moderate alcohol and stony minerality. Taut, saline and very focused, it's a deliciously refreshing Chenin Blanc. 2020-28

Vibrant, citrusy acidity forms a mouthwatering frame for the flavors of honeyed apricot, blood orange sorbet, green almond and fleur de sel in this harmonious, medium-bodied white. Sleek and finely-meshed, offers a light, chalky sensation and a hint of herb on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2026. 200 cases made, 45 cases imported.
